I created HomeStudioProject.com so I can help you create, record and give your music what it takes to be heard!
If you are reading this website you certainly are one of the following types of people:
You are a songwriter, (hobby or side job), you want to record your songs, but you are not sure if you can do it, you don't know where to start setting up your home studio.
You write songs/music and have spent a lot of money on professional recording studios arranging and recording your music. Let's face it, sometimes or most of the time you are not satisfied with the final result. You are determined that you should record your music on your own, but you need some help.
You are passionate about your music, you have a basic beautiful home studio set up. You record your music but you want to take it to the next level but are having difficulty! You get disappointed and you leave it all behind/ half done.
You record your music in your home studio, and are pleased with your recordings but... when it's time for mixing, you get frustrated because you didn't get the result you wanted.
Whatever type of person you are, I understand you! I know what it feels like because I've been there for many years. No worries! Home Studio Project is here to help you start from scratch! The first thing you have to do is to let me teach you my way of working in the home studio.
Home studio gear is so affordable nowadays, you can get anything you need for recording your music. Anything you need and not anything you want. Just because you have so many options to choose from, doesn't mean you need them all. What is "best" for your home studio? I have news for you! Less is more!
Recording music is such a fascinating and creative process. I will take you step by step through the entire process. My name is Evmorfos Kasinakis and I'm the founder of HomeStudioProject.com. I'm a freelance musician, composer, arranger, recording and mixing engineer.
I live and work in Athens, Greece. I have studied music (theory, harmony, fugue, arrangement, guitar and piano) and have furthered my studies by taking lessons in music technology and audio engineering.
My first guitar lessons were given by my father. In less than a year I started writing songs. From that point on I realized that music was and is my passion and that was what I wanted to do for a living. Through the years I have worked in many professional recording studios, recording my demos, but not being completely satisfied.
After spending lots of time and money, I decided to set up my own personal home studio (well actually I have my wife to thank for that, as she supported and pushed me in that direction!) I didn't know anything about studio gear (DAW microphones audio interfaces, recording, mixing) I just wanted to record my songs and friend's songs.
All these beautiful "adventures" of arranging, recording and mixing in my home studio I would like to share with you, and teach you how you can start recording from scratch until you are ready to share your music to the world. I'm very passionate about music and creativity and that's why I created HomeStudioProject. I will help you through the process of recording and mixing your music. My goal is to become one big music community, here in HomeStudioProject!
